As Prince Waikiki responds to the challenge of the coronavirus (COVID-19), our thoughts and aloha go out to those who have been affected by this global event. We are deeply grateful to the individuals and communities working on the front lines to contain this situation.

Please know the safety and health of our guests and ambassadors are our first priority.  We are closely monitoring on a daily basis the most up-to-date guidelines through the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and local authorities to ensure a healthy stay with us.

In this unsettling climate, we thank you in advance for placing your continued trust in Prince Waikiki as you plan for future travel. We remain committed to doing everything we can to reinforce measures recommended by government and public health officials.

Our ambassadors work daily to ensure Prince Waikiki meets the latest hygiene and cleaning guidance from the CDC and WHO. Our stringent health and safety protocols address a wide spectrum of viruses, including COVID-19.

Given the evolving nature of the COVID-19 impact, we have also adapted our cancellation policy to provide our guests with additional flexibility. For any reservations booked through a third party, please contact your booking provider for further information on their policies.

While the recent COVID-19 pandemic has changed the world and how business is conducted, we remain positive and look forward to welcoming all of our guests with a commitment to ensure their health, safety and comfort.

We have further enhanced our cleaning guidelines which was carefully put together and implemented following the recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Hawaii Lodging and Tourism Association (HLTA).

In consideration of recent proclamations and directives issued by the Hawaii State Government and local authorities, including the extension of the 14 day Mandatory Quarantine for all arriving visitors to the State of Hawaii for the protection, safety and well-being of all guests, ambassadors and our community, we have chosen to extend the temporary closure of our 3 hotels – Prince Waikiki, Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort.  We look forward to resuming our normal operations from September 1, 2020 in line with pre-arrival requirements as set by the State of Hawaii.

We will be waiving all change and cancellation fees as well as refunding any deposits for reservation booked for stays through these dates.  As of this time, we are looking forward to accepting new and rebooked reservations for arrivals on and after September 1, 2020.   Please contact our Reservations Department at #855-622-7558 or [email protected] between the hours of 7:00am – 7:00pm (Monday – Friday), 8:00am – 6:00pm (Saturday) and 8:00am – 5:00pm (Sunday) Hawaii Standard time to cancel or rebook your stay.  You may also modify your reservations through our hotel website at   For those guests who booked through our valued travel partners, please contact them directly for their individual policies and assistance.

100 Sails Restaurant & Bar:

Hinana Bar:

In Room Dining:

Club Lounge:

Katsumidori Sushi Tokyo:

  • Closed from March 18, 2020 until further notice.

Honolulu Coffee:

  • Effective March 20, 2020, Honolulu Coffee will be temporarily closed until further notice.

Retail Shops (Accents, Abiste):

  • Accents: Closed from March 26, 2020 until further notice.
  • Abiste: Closed from March 23, 2020 until further notice.

Naio Bliss:

  • Closed from March 20, 2020 until further notice.

Hawaii Prince Golf Course:

  • In conjunction with the April 29, 2020 announcement by the City and County of Honolulu, as supported by State of Hawaii and the changes to the Stay at Home Order, allowing certain designated businesses to re-open, we are very pleased to announce the re-opening of the Hawaii Prince Golf Club on Monday, May 4, 2020.
  • For the safety of our golfers and staff, all guidelines and precautionary measures set forth by PGA Aloha Section and health authorities will continue to be taken in consideration to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
