Prince Waikiki is proud to be the exclusive Hawaiʻi hotel partner of Brighten A Heart, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing comfort and encouragement to patients and families, one act of kindness at a time.
Through thoughtfully curated Comfort Care Totes filled with personal care essentials, soft blankets, and community-created canvas artwork, Brighten A Heart shares positivity and hope with those experiencing illness, recovery, or extended care. The organization also spreads the aloha spirit through community-created floral arrangements provided to individuals served by local outreach programs.
Brighten A Heart’s community partners include Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children, Straub Benioff Medical Center, Wilcox Medical Center on Kauai, Lanakila Pacific Meals on Wheels, and Keiki to Kupuna Foundation. Together, these partnerships help bring comfort, connection, and moments of joy to those who need them most.

Join this complimentary activity and decorate a 6 × 6-inch white canvas with colorful acrylic paint markers. Brighten A Heart will include the completed artwork in Comfort Care Totes shared with patients and families receiving care.
Floral Arrangements of Hope
Share the aloha spirit at this complimentary floral arranging workshop, open to all. Create a beautiful floral arrangement to brighten someone’s day.
Brighten A Heart will provide 200 arrangements to Lanakila Pacific Meals on Wheels and 100 to Keiki to Kupuna Foundation, sharing a heartfelt reminder that someone cares.
