• Path Water aluminum bottles and hydration stations throughout the property that eliminated the use of over 300,000 single-use plastic bottles annually
• EV charging stations in our self-parking garage
• Biki Bikes and Go X electric scooters available on-property make it easy to explore the neighborhood at a relaxed, sustainable pace
• A zero food waste program that ensures unused and untouched food is redistributed to those in need, while any food waste that remains is donated to local farms

Here on Oʻahu, there are endless ways to explore thoughtfully while connecting with the island on a deeper level. Across Oʻahu, you’ll find five botanical gardens, including: 

• Foster Botanical Garden: A quick 15 minute drive from Prince Waikiki, this is an ideal spot to see endemic plants and learn about ancient Hawaiian ethnobotany. 
• Ho‘omaluhia Botanical Garden: A 400-acre refuge in Kāneʻohe that sits at the foot of the Ko’olau mountain range.
• Lili’uokalani Botanical Garden: A garden located on part of Queen Lili’uokalani’s private estate and focused exclusively on indigenous flora. 
• Koko Crater Botanical Garden: A collection of rare cacti, aloes, baobabs, and more, all tucked inside the crater of an extinct volcano. 
• Wahiawā Botanical Garden: Known as the “Tropical Jewel”, this ravine garden offers a genuine rainforest feel. 

 

You can also try your hand at a reef-safe snorkeling tour in Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve to learn more about the work being done to protect delicate coral ecosystems. 

 

Prince Tip: Book in advance — only 1,400 guests are allowed in the preserve each day, and reef-safe sunscreen is required.
